Description SAKHAROK
Sugar Root Radish is an early-maturing variety, ripening within 20-25 days. The roots of this variety are round, bright red, large, reaching a diameter of up to 5 cm and a weight of 30-40 g. They are distinguished by a thin skin, white, juicy, and very tender flesh of a slightly sharp taste, which retains freshness for a long time and does not wilt. The variety is resistant to bolting, which ensures a stable yield and high product quality.

Sowing sugar root radish seeds is recommended in open ground at the end of April – beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm with row spacing of 5-7 and 15 cm. Plants form a small foliage and quickly accumulate root mass, which makes this variety particularly attractive for bulk harvesting in bunches. Yield reaches 3.2-3.4 kg per square meter. Replanting in mid-July allows for an additional harvest in August-September.

The Sakhakor variety is widely used fresh, in salads and okroshkas thanks to its tender taste and attractive appearance. Radish leaves form a rosette of light green color with characteristic cuts at the ends, which also gives the plant decorative qualities. Thanks to its qualities and high yield, sugar root radish is an excellent choice for growing in open ground for both personal consumption and sale on fresh markets.
