Odysseus

Odysseus radish is an early-ripening variety, maturing within 18-20 days after germination. It is intended for growing in open ground and features a semi-upright leaf rosette. A distinctive feature of the variety is the narrow attachment of leaves to the root, which allows the leaves to be easily pulled off, significantly facilitating harvest collection.

The Odysseus root has an elongated-cylindrical shape and white color, with a mass of about 17 grams per root. The flesh is snow-white, juicy, dense, and not sharp in taste, making the radish especially pleasant to eat fresh. Due to its density, the flesh retains freshness for a long time and does not wilt.

For planting, it is recommended to sow at the end of April – beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm, with rowspacing of 15 cm and plant spacing of 5-7 cm. The variety prefers light, structured, and well-fertilized soils, which contributes to high yield, reaching 2.0 kg per square meter. Odysseus is perfect for those who value early and high-quality radish harvest.
