Kaiman

The 'Kayman' radish variety is an early-maturing type that reaches technical maturity in just 22-25 days from germination. It is intended for bunch production and recommended for cultivation in both open and protected ground. The plant forms a small upright rosette of leaves, while the root develops rapidly at the same time. The root is bright red, round in shape with thin skin, about 3 cm in diameter and an average weight of about 20 grams. The flesh is white, dense, juicy and crunchy, has a piquant taste without spiciness and retains freshness for a long time, not becoming limp.

The Kayman variety is valued for its stable production of high yields even under reduced temperatures and insufficient lighting. It is characterized by good uniformity of roots and high transportability, which makes it convenient for commercial cultivation. Commercial yield is about 1.5-2.0 kg per square meter. Sowing seeds is recommended in late April – early May at a depth of 1 cm with row spacing of 4-7 cm, with the possibility of a second sowing in mid-July.

'Kayman' radish seeds have good germination and are suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, making this variety a universal choice for both beginners and experienced gardeners.
