Radish Crimson Giant is an early variety with a vegetation period of about 28 days, distinguished by high cold resistance and excellent commercial qualities. The plant forms a small, compact rosette with green leaves, while the root crops have a round shape and a bright red color without white spots. The diameter of the root crops is 4-5 cm, the flesh is snow-white, juicy, dense and crisp, and it does not contain bitterness, ensuring an excellent taste.
This radish variety is distinguished by the uniformity of fruits, good preservation and transportability, which makes it convenient for storage and sale. Root crops maintain their commercial appearance for a long time and do not lose their elasticity, which is especially important for commercial cultivation. Thanks to its cold resistance, Crimson Giant is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds from mid-April with an interval of 10-14 days, as well as in July-August. Well-fertilized, moist soils and sunny places are preferred. Seeds are sown in rows to a depth of up to 2.5 cm. The optimal temperature for vegetation is 18-20 °C. During cultivation, thinning of seedlings, regular watering, feeding and weed control are necessary to obtain a quality crop.
