Vulkan

The Vulcan radish variety is a late-maturing and high-yielding variety with large root vegetables bright red in color, up to 20 cm long and weighing from 100 to 300 grams. The root vegetables are round in shape, the pulp is juicy and has a mildly sharp taste, making this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption. Sowing Vulcan radish is recommended in open or protected ground at the end of April – early May, to a depth of about 1-3 cm with a row spacing of 7x7 cm. The period from germination to technical maturity is approximately 45-50 days. The variety is characterized by resistance to bolting and diseases, which contributes to a stable high yield, reaching 4.5 kg per square meter. In addition, Vulcan withstands storage for up to 4 months without loss of taste and market qualities.
