EVOSTAR

EVOSTAR radish is a mid-early variety intended for cultivation in various regions, including Russia, Ukraine, and Moldova. The plant forms a semi-erect rosette of leaves with an inverted egg-shaped form and a grayish-green shade, while the leaf petioles are colored with anthocyanin. This variety was developed and registered by SYNGENTA SEEDS B.V. and included in the State Register for cultivation in personal subsidiary farms.

EVOSTAR radish root crops have a round, spherical shape with a flat top and a bright red color. The flesh is white, tender, and juicy, slightly sharp in taste, without bitterness, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The weight of one root crop ranges from 18 to 25 grams, and the diameter reaches about 3 cm. The yield of the variety varies from 1.5 to 4 kg per square meter depending on cultivation conditions.

The EVOSTAR variety is distinguished by its resistance to bolting and yellowing of the foliage, which contributes to a stable and quality harvest. Radish grows well in both open and closed ground at an optimal temperature of 16 to 22 degrees Celsius. Sowing is recommended from April to June with a depth of 2-2.5 cm and a scheme of 5 x 15 cm. The period from germination to technical maturity is 23–25 days, and the harvest takes place in June-July. This variety is ideal for fresh consumption.
