Description Helro
Helro radish is intended for cultivation in greenhouses and under cover, allowing harvests in early spring and late autumn. This early-maturing variety features rapid maturation: roots are ready for harvest 18-20 days after emergence in protected environments, and 20-24 days in open ground. Due to its tolerance to low light, Helro is suitable for autumn-winter cultivation.

Helro radish roots are round, with a diameter of about 3.5 cm and a weight of 20-25 g. They have a shiny, bright red skin and a juicy flesh with a mildly spicy flavor. The plant's foliage is short and dark green. The variety is characterized by high marketability and uniform root development, with no hollowing upon overripening and prolonged retention of an attractive appearance. Yield reaches 2.9-3.3 kg per square meter.

Helro is resistant to powdery mildew, white rot, and root hollowing. For successful cultivation, follow a planting scheme of 5x10 cm, sow seeds at a depth of 2-2.5 cm, with a rate of 1.2-2 g per square meter. Avoid excessive use of nitrogen and organic fertilizers, as this may negatively affect plant development. The variety is convenient for bunching, facilitating its sale and use.
