Rondo Radish is an early-maturing hybrid variety intended for growing in open and protected ground from spring to autumn. The maturation period is about 18-20 days from sowing, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is compact with bright green, low-growing foliage, resistant to pests and fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and white rot. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to adhere to a sowing rate of 200-250 seeds per square meter and avoid overcrowding; the optimal planting scheme is 10x5 cm.
Rondo radish fruits are round, smooth, and bright red in color, which is maintained even after washing. Root diameter reaches 3-5 cm, with an average weight of 25-35 grams. The flesh is white, dense, free of cavities and cracks, distinguished by juiciness and pleasant taste. Due to the high content of vitamins, radish is especially beneficial when consumed fresh immediately after harvest.
To obtain a quality harvest, Rondo radish prefers fertile, loose soils and tolerates slight cooling and conditions of shortened daylight hours well. This variety is characterized by good marketability and is suitable for market sales thanks to its attractive appearance and excellent taste qualities.
