Muscat de Provence pumpkin represents a high-yielding mid-early variety with a vegetative period of about 110-115 days. The plant is powerful, forming large fruits of round-flat shape with a segmented surface and bright orange color. The average fruit weight ranges from 3 to 4 kilograms; the flesh is dense, rich orange, with high sugar content, giving it a sweet taste and making this variety particularly attractive for making juice and puree.

This pumpkin variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, making it popular among both home gardeners and for commercial cultivation. The plant forms long runners up to 4-5 meters long or more, while fruits have thin skin and thick flesh rich in carotene and sugars (up to 11.3%). The variety yield is high — up to 10-11 kg per bush or 35-48 tons per hectare. Muscat de Provence is a late-ripening variety with a vegetative period of 125-136 days, self-fertile, and heat-loving plant, preferring sunny places.

Muscat de Provence pumpkin is versatile in application: puree and juices are prepared from it, suitable for baby food; porridge can be cooked, baked in the oven; and it is used for preparing first and second courses. Thanks to high frost resistance and good fruit storage, this variety is suitable for winter storage and fresh consumption, making it an excellent choice for diverse culinary use.
