PARADISO

Paradiso is a medium-early potato variety with a vegetation period of 60-70 days, allowing the first harvest to be collected as early as day 45 after planting. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 12-14 tubers per plant, ensuring significant output under proper agronomic conditions. The tubers are large, elongated-oval in shape, uniform in size, with smooth, thin yellow skin and light-yellow, dense flesh. The tuber weight ranges from 80 to 120 grams, and starch content is approximately 18%, granting the potato versatile culinary properties.

Paradiso exhibits high resistance to stress and drought, as well as resistance to golden nematode and virus diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including throughout Ukraine. The variety is also resistant to late blight type I and dark spot development, contributing to maintaining the market appearance and quality of the harvest. Storage capacity is high — up to 6 months with retention of 95% marketability, and low sensitivity to mechanical damage makes it convenient for transportation and marketing.

The culinary type of Paradiso is universal: the potato is suitable for making mashed potatoes, soups, boiling, and frying, yielding soft flesh inside and a crispy crust outside. Tubers break down slightly during thermal processing, allowing for use in a wide range of dishes. Due to its excellent taste, high yield potential, and attractive appearance, the Paradiso variety is in demand both in retail markets and in food service establishments.
