Description Panyanka
Panyanka — a late-maturing table potato variety, registered in the Ukrainian Plant Variety Register in 2007 and recommended for cultivation in all regions of the country. Tubers have a round shape with a fine netted skin and colored eyes, yellow flesh with a flaky texture. Starch content is about 17%, dry matter — 25.1%, providing an excellent taste and making this variety especially suitable for making mashed potatoes, puréed soups, and baking.

The variety is characterized by high yield — 35-40 tons per hectare — as well as good storability, allowing for long-term storage without loss of quality. Panyanka is resistant to the common biotype of potato late blight, phytophthora, viral diseases, and is not damaged by potato cyst nematodes. These characteristics make it a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners.

For earlier maturity, it is recommended to pre-sprout tubers before planting and treat them with fungicide-insecticide solutions. Planting under film may also improve growing conditions and increase yield. The variety is classified as elite, confirming its high quality and market demand.
