NA Konkord

NA Concord sunflower is a high-yielding simple hybrid intended for oil use. It features a medium maturity period of 114-116 days and a 1000-seed weight of 60-65 grams. The seeds are black and elongated, characteristic of this variety. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, where it demonstrates high adaptability and stable yields of up to 50 centners per hectare.

NA Concord has high oil content, reaching 50-51%, making it attractive for oil production. It is characterized by vigorous early vegetative growth and a well-developed root system, which contributes to its resilience under adverse conditions. The hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and shattering, and good tolerance to high temperatures and low air humidity.

Special attention has been given to the resistance of NA Concord sunflower to various diseases and pests. It is resistant to 7 species of aphids and tolerant to sunflower downy mildew, false powdery mildew, Phomopsis, Phomoid, gray mold, and rust. The cultivation technology for this hybrid involves either conventional or express methods on clean fields, ensuring optimal conditions for obtaining high-quality yields.
