The Paroli potato variety is a very early table type with a maturation period of 35 to 50 days. The plant is tall, stem-type, spreading, with large green leaves and a large flower cluster, which has little or no anthocyanin pigmentation on the inner side. Tubers are oval-shaped with small eyes, having yellow skin and flesh. The marketable tuber mass ranges from 100 to 146 grams, ensuring ease of use and consumer appeal.
The variety is characterized by high marketable yield, ranging from 175 to 403 centners per hectare, which is 68-208 centners higher than the Zhukovsky Early standard. Maximum yield reaches 467 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the standards of the Udaча variety in Bryansk Oblast. Yield on day 45 after emergence is 125-232 centners per hectare, and on day 55 — 178-367 centners, confirming its early maturing and high productivity.
Paroli has excellent taste and high starch content (11.4-13.7%), making it suitable for various culinary purposes. Tubers have a marketability of 83-97% and storability of 95%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss. The variety is resistant to potato blight, golden potato cyst nematode, and, according to the breeder, to crinkly mosaic and leaf curl, enhancing its reliability and disease resistance.
