Description RANOMI
Ranomi potato is an early table variety developed by the Dutch breeding company Agrico. It features high yield potential and performs excellently when grown as early potato. The tubers have an elongated-oval shape, bright yellow color, and smooth surface with barely noticeable eyes. On average, 14 to 16 tubers form per plant. The flesh is also yellow, dense, and uniform, with dry matter content of 17.5–18%, ensuring good culinary and taste qualities.

The Ranomi variety exhibits high resistance to common diseases such as late blight, golden nematode, and first type potato cyst nematode. Additionally, it is resistant to mechanical damage, making it convenient for washing and packaging. Thanks to these qualities, the potato is highly valued by retail chains and suitable for both packaged sales after washing and direct field delivery.

Ranomi potato has moderate boiling qualities, making it versatile for various cooking methods, including soups and mashed potatoes. Under optimal storage conditions at around 4°C, tubers can maintain their quality for up to six months. The variety does not require special growing conditions, making it attractive to farmers and food service enterprises.
