Flowers are white, and the intensity of anthocyanin coloring on the inner side of the corolla is absent or very weak. Tubers are oval-round, with light beige skin and white flesh. The mass of marketable tubers varies from 115 to 150 grams, and the number of tubers per plant is 8-11. Starch content ranges from 15.1% to 18.5%, making this variety suitable for various culinary purposes, including baking, boiling, and making puree.
The yield of Bылина Сибири variety is high and stable, reaching 207 to 310 centners per hectare, with maximum yields up to 358 centners per hectare. Tubers' marketability is 82-93%, and storability reaches 95%, ensuring good product preservation during storage. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance and low sensitivity to mechanical damage, enhancing its suitability for various soil-climatic conditions.
In terms of disease resistance, Bылина Сибири exhibits resistance to potato scab and moderate resistance to late blight in both foliage and tubers. It also shows high resistance to common and silver scab, as well as to viruses Y (PVY), A (PVA), and leaf curling (PLRV). However, it is susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode. The breeder of this variety is the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Omsk Agricultural Research Center".
