Rigasol OR — this is an early-maturing classic sunflower hybrid developed by Syngenta from the Netherlands. It matures in 100–108 days and is characterized by high stability and productivity. The hybrid has excellent resistance to diseases, lodging, and is not susceptible to bird damage. Rapid initial growth and good adaptation to stressful conditions, such as cold and drought, make it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.
The optimal planting density for Rigasol OR is 45,000–50,000 plants per hectare, which contributes to maximum yield potential. The hybrid shows best results with balanced mineral nutrition, optimal irrigation, and early planting dates. Oil content in the seeds ranges from 48% to 53%, making it attractive for oilseed production. However, excessive use of nitrogen fertilizers and overly high planting density should be avoided to reduce the risk of lodging.
Rigasol OR is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine and on various soil types, ensuring its versatility and wide application in agriculture. To increase yield and natural plant resistance, modern cultivation technologies, including the use of universal and complex liquid fertilizers, are recommended.
