MONALIZA

The potato variety Monaliza is a mid-early table-type variety of Dutch selection, characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. Tubers are elongated-oval, with smooth yellow skin and light-yellow flesh, weighing from 74 to 154 grams. Starch content ranges from 13.3% to 16.5%, making this variety particularly suitable for processing into crispy potatoes. The number of tubers per plant ranges from 8 to 12, and the maturation period lasts from 65 to 80 days. Tubers have high storability — about 93% — ensuring good harvest preservation during storage.

The Monaliza variety is resistant to several diseases, including potato blight and late blight, but is susceptible to late blight on foliage and golden potato nematode. It is also resistant to viruses of types 'A' and 'U'. Due to its resistance to mechanical damage, this variety is well-suited for transportation and storage. Monaliza is adapted to various climatic conditions, including the climate of Eastern Ukraine, and can be used for two-crop cultivation and early harvest production.
