PRIBREZHNA

The Pribrozhnaya plum is a tall tree with a broom-shaped crown, distinguished by its high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases such as red blister and clasterosporium. This variety was selected at the Gorno-Tayezhaya Station and is successfully grown in regions with harsh climatic conditions, including the Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk. The plant is sun-loving and moisture-loving, requiring proper care to achieve high-quality and abundant yields.

Pribrozhnaya plum fruits have an average weight of 27 to 35 grams, an irregular shape, and light yellow, dense flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste. The pit is small and easily separates from the flesh, making the fruits convenient for consumption and processing. The variety is characterized by good transportability, which allows maintaining fruit quality during long-distance transport.

The plum ripens at the end of August to early September, which falls within the medium-late maturity period. Fruit bearing begins in the 3-4 year after planting. Due to high yield and resistance to unfavorable conditions, the Pribrozhnaya variety is universal and in demand for growing in regions with moderate and cold climates.
