Plum President

President Plum is an old, high-yielding late-ripening variety developed in England at the beginning of the 20th century. Trees of this variety are vigorous and have a pyramidal crown, which becomes more rounded and spreading with age. The variety has high winter hardiness and disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. President Plum is self-fertile, but fruit yield significantly increases when planted near other plum varieties. Trees begin to bear fruit on the 4th–5th year after planting, with mature trees producing yields of 45–70 kg.
