ČAČAČKAJA NAJKRAŠČA

Plum variety Čačakskaja Najkrašča is a high-yielding late-maturing variety bred in Serbia. The tree is tall with a wide pyramidal crown of medium density, begins bearing fruit in the 2nd-3rd year after planting and produces a stable yield annually. The fruits are large, weighing about 50-60 grams, egg-shaped or oval-egg-shaped in form, with an attractive commercial appearance. The skin is of medium thickness, dark blue in color with a dense bluish bloom, which gives the fruits additional decorative value and protects them during transport.

The flesh is greenish-yellow or amber in color, dense, juicy and very aromatic, with an excellent dessert taste and a slight sourness. The pit is elongated, easily separates from the flesh, and the clear side seam allows the fruit to be divided into two equal parts. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for growing under various climatic conditions.

Čačakskaja Najkrašča requires pollinators, such as the varieties Čačakskaja rannaya and Stanley. The fruits withstand transport well and can be stored in cool conditions for up to three weeks without loss of taste qualities and commercial appearance. The variety is universal in use: suitable for fresh consumption, making dried fruits, prunes, freezing and compotes. The yield of an adult tree reaches 50-70 kg, which makes this variety attractive both for private gardeners and for industrial cultivation.
