Hungarian Italian, large blue. Obtained at the Mylivskoy NII of Horticulture of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine named after L.P. Simirenko. Breeders: I.I. Ilchishin, A.M. Shevchenko, V.F. Laskovyy. Introduced into the State Register in 1997 for the North Caucasus region.
A strongly-growing tree with a wide, rounded, slightly raised, compact crown of medium density.
Fruits are large, sometimes very large, average weight 30 g, sometimes 50 g, oval, even. The ventral suture is deep and narrow. The skin has uneven dark-blue coloration with green-purple, sometimes rusty spots and brown dots, with a strong waxy coating. The calyx is deep and narrow. The pedicel is long, medium thickness. The flesh is yellow-green, juicy, firm, cartilaginous. Flavor is sour-sweet, very good. The stone separates easily from the flesh, medium size, oval shape.
Mid-late maturing variety, universal use. High yield. Self-sterile. Moderate winter hardiness. Moderately resistant to clasterosporiosis.
