HERITAGE

The "Heritage" plum variety is a medium-late universal-purpose variety, characterized by a medium-height, fast-growing, and spreading tree. Fruiting mainly occurs on fruiting spurs and buds of current season's shoots. Shoots have medium thickness, are straight, dark red in color, and hairless. Leaves are of medium size, elliptical in shape with a short-pointed tip, dark green, concave, hairless, with a wavy margin.

Fruits of the "Heritage" variety have an oval shape and a medium weight of about 44 grams, differing in uniformity. The main fruit color is violet-blue, with a covering violet-brown shade. The skin is delicate, smooth, and covered with a strong waxy bloom. The flesh is yellowish-green, dense, and dry to the touch. The taste is sweet, confirmed by a high taste rating of 5 points. The fruits contain 20.8% dry matter, 10.9% sugars, and 0.38% acids. The pit is small-medium in size, round in shape, fits tightly against the flesh, and does not separate.

The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and resistance to pests such as aphids. It also shows high resistance to fungal diseases, including moniliosis and clasterosporiosis. Drought resistance of "Heritage" is average, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The average yield of the variety reaches 213.8 centners per hectare, indicating its high productivity and reliability.
