Description VESEUVIUS
The Vesuvius pepper variety is an early-maturing and high-yielding variety, characterized by high disease resistance. Plants reach a height of approximately 60-80 cm, with strong and robust stems that ensure good fruit set. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers, making it versatile for various climatic conditions.

Vesuvius fruits are large, meaty, with wall thickness from 6 to 8 mm and weight from 140 to 250 g. They have a cube-shaped or elongated-cube shape, dark red glossy color, and a wrinkled surface. The flesh is sweet, juicy, and aromatic, giving the peppers excellent taste qualities both fresh and in preserved products.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 5-6 kg per square meter, as well as good fruit storability and transportability. The maturation period is 90 to 120 days after germination, allowing for an early harvest. Due to its characteristics, Vesuvius is ideally suited for freezing, preserving, and long-term storage.
