Description Blancina
Early high-yielding hybrid pepper Blancina F1, developed by the Dutch breeding company Enza Zaden, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The plant is compact, with a strong root system and sturdy, non-brittle stems, providing good covering capacity and resistance to adverse weather conditions, insufficient lighting, and sudden temperature fluctuations. Blancina F1 demonstrates high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, vascular yellows, and various spots, contributing to a stable and high-quality yield throughout the year.

Blancina pepper fruits are cube-shaped, averaging 9 x 11 cm in size and weighing 180–250 grams. They feature uniformity, a glossy appearance, and a vibrant yellowish-white color at technical maturity, turning red upon biological ripening. The fruit walls are 5–7 mm thick, with dense, succulent flesh, 3–4 chambers, and a fresh, intense vegetal flavor. Thanks to their excellent uniformity and attractive color gradient from white to ivory, the fruits have a high commercial appearance.

The Blancina F1 hybrid matures early — approximately 65 days after transplanting. It responds well to intensive agronomic practices and withstands transportation and storage without quality loss, making it highly sought after by retailers and consumers.
