Description Mersisa
Mersisa pepper is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper type Capsicum, intended for cultivation in open fields and plastic greenhouses. The vegetation period is 67-70 days, ensuring rapid fruit ripening and a short harvest interval. The plant features a strong root system with excellent growth vigor and high fruiting capacity, contributing to stable and high yields.

The fruits of Mersisa pepper have a elongated-conical shape and reach a length of 16-18 cm with a weight of 130-140 g. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and in biological ripeness, they turn deep red. The pepper has 2-3 chambers, making it attractive for fresh consumption, as well as for industrial use and export.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to viral and fungal diseases, including resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV) and Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TM). This ensures reliable cultivation and reduces the risk of crop loss. Mersisa pepper seeds are produced by Rijk Zwaan (Netherlands) and are packaged in quantities of 100 and 1000 seeds, making them convenient for various planting scales.
