Fiji

Fiji is an early hybrid of sweet pepper of the Capsicum type, characterized by high yield and disease resistance. The fruits of this hybrid have a long conical shape, thick-walled (wall thickness 0.5-0.7 cm) and smooth glossy surface. The average weight of one fruit is 130-160 grams, making them convenient for fresh consumption and preservation.

Technical ripening of the fruits occurs 60-65 days after planting, when they have a light green color. Biological ripening is reached after 70-75 days, during which the fruits turn bright red. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses, making it a versatile option for different climatic conditions.

The hybrid is produced by the company LibraSeeds (Erste Zaden) from the Netherlands. The high yield of this pepper reaches 90-110 tons per hectare, making it attractive for commercial cultivation.
