Description SOCHNIK
Sweet pepper variety SOCHNIK is early-maturing and intended for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The period from germination to the start of ripening is 95-115 days. The plant is compact and medium-height, which facilitates care and harvest. Fruits have a conical shape with a smooth and glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and in biological ripeness — deep red.

The fruit mass varies from 90 to 120 grams, and the wall thickness is 5-6 mm, making the pepper juicy and fleshy. The variety is characterized by high drought and heat resistance, ensuring stable yield, especially under plastic coverings, where it reaches 5.3-5.5 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics, SOCHNIK is ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for stuffing, canning, and freezing.

Cultivation of this variety begins with sowing seeds for seedlings in March, and transplanting into the ground is done in May. Harvesting lasts from early July to late August, allowing for fresh fruits throughout the entire summer season. The variety was developed by a group of breeders and approved for use in 2019, confirming its modernity and adaptability to various growing conditions.
