Shinako

Shinako — an early hybrid of sweet pepper type Kapia, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is compact and leafy, providing good protection for fruits from sunburn. Due to its generative type, it achieves a prolonged fruiting period, contributing to a stable and high yield even under stressful conditions.

Shinako fruits have a conical shape and are uniform. In technical ripeness, they are green, and in biological ripeness — deep red. The average fruit weight is 80-90 grams, although some specimens may weigh up to 120 grams. The fruit wall thickness is 5-6 mm, making this hybrid especially suitable for whole-fruit canning, as well as for grilling. High taste and commercial quality of the fruits ensure their demand both for fresh consumption and for processing, freezing, and drying.
