The Ruby Cup pepper variety is a medium-late, high-yielding variety, primarily intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The plant is semi-spreading, medium-height, reaching approximately 1 meter in height, with short internodes. Plants form cube-shaped fruits weighing 180 to 200 grams, which are dark green when immature and turn bright red and glossy upon full ripening. Fruit wall thickness is 7-8 mm, ensuring juiciness, crisp texture, and good storability after harvest. Due to these qualities, the pepper is ideal for use in summer salads and fresh dishes.

Sowing seeds for seedlings is recommended in late February, followed by transplanting when the seedlings have developed their cotyledons. Seedling transplanting into the ground is carried out at the end of May, with planting spacing of 40x60 cm. For optimal growth and fruit formation, all side shoots and leaves should be removed up to the first fork, which promotes better air circulation and plant illumination. This pruning method helps increase yield and fruit quality.

The variety is resistant to drought and cold, allowing cultivation not only in greenhouse conditions but also in open ground. Average yield is 2.9 to 3.3 kg per square meter. Despite its general resistance, plants may be affected by verticillium wilt to a moderate degree, requiring careful care and preventive measures.
