KORENOVSKY

KORENOVSKY — a mid-season sweet pepper variety intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The plant is semi-spreading, bushy, reaching a height of 55–65 cm, which facilitates care and harvesting. The average ripening period ranges from 107 to 115 days after germination, allowing for a stable yield under various climatic conditions.

The fruits are large, 12–15 cm long and weighing 120–160 g, with a truncated-conical or prism-shaped, slightly ribbed form. In technical maturity, they are light green, and in biological maturity — bright red, with juicy flesh and a wall thickness of 5–7 mm. The pepper is distinguished by high flavor quality and a strong aroma, making it versatile for fresh consumption, home cooking, as well as canning and freezing.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 4.5 kg per square meter — and resilience to adverse weather conditions, ensuring consistent fruiting throughout the summer. Despite its susceptibility to verticillium wilt, KORENOVSKY remains a popular choice due to its prolonged fruiting and excellent fruit processing qualities. It is suitable for cultivation not only in open ground but also on balconies, in greenhouses, and under plastic covers.
