Ferrari F1 sweet pepper is an ultraprecoce hybrid of Hungarian type developed by the Japanese seed company Sakata. This hybrid is highly versatile and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses, tunnels, and polytunnels. The plant is strong, with a well-developed root system, providing resistance to stressful conditions including prolonged heat, as well as to major diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus. The vegetation period is approximately 55-65 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing for early and stable harvest.

Ferrari pepper fruits have a conical shape typical of Hungarian type, reaching a mass of 180 to 250 grams, with a length of 10-12 cm and a diameter of 7-8 cm. In biological maturity, they acquire a rich red or dark red color. Thick-walled fruits are highly juicy and have a rich sweet flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for culinary processing, canning, freezing, and drying. Thanks to their excellent storability and high transportability, peppers maintain their market appearance during long-term storage and transportation.

Ferrari F1 hybrid demonstrates high yield and stable fruiting, making it popular for both fresh markets and processing. Plants have strong generative capacity and resistance to several viral diseases, reducing the risk of crop loss. The planting rate is 30-35 thousand plants per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum output of quality produce.
