RED NOSE

Red Nose — an early and high-yielding sweet pepper variety characterized by forming a low-growing, spreading bush 50 to 80 cm tall. The fruits are conical, fairly large, 6–8 cm in diameter and weighing 70 to 100 grams, with thick, fleshy walls 5–6 mm thick. Immature fruits are white-yellow, but mature ones turn into a bright, saturated red. The flesh has a pleasant taste and aroma, making this variety versatile for various uses.

The variety is noted for its hardiness and resistance to common pepper diseases, allowing cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground. For optimal yield, it is recommended to grow seedlings with sowing in late February and transplanting at the cotyledon stage. Transplanting into the ground is done at the end of May, following a 40x80 cm planting scheme. During cultivation, it is important to prune the plant, removing all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, which promotes better growth and fruiting.

The fruits of the Red Nose variety have good storability, retain their juiciness and flavor for a long time. They are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for stuffing, freezing, and canning.
