LASANTA

Lasanta pepper is an early-maturing hybrid that ripens within 95-110 days from germination to technical maturity. The plant is medium-height, semi-spreading with dark green leaves, suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground. Seeds are recommended to be sown pre-germinated at a temperature of 25-28°C, with seedlings emerging in 10-15 days. The optimal planting density is 3.5-5 plants per square meter, with row spacing of 60-70 cm and intra-row spacing of 35-40 cm.

The peppers of Lasanta have an extraordinary length with a length-to-diameter ratio of 4.5:1 and feature a beautiful dark-magenta color with excellent gloss. The average fruit weight is 130-140 grams, with wall thickness reaching 4-5 mm. At biological maturity, the fruits turn red, while at technical maturity they remain dark green. The pepper has an excellent flavor, especially prized in salted and marinated forms, and is also well-suited for salads and side dishes.

The Lasanta hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 8-9 kg per square meter, prolonged fruiting and storage period, and good transportability. It is resistant to diseases such as phytophthora, tobacco mosaic virus, and tomato mosaic virus, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers.
