MEGATON GOLD

Megaton Gold F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper, developed by Russian breeders and intended for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, tunnels, as well as in open ground under suitable climatic conditions. The plant is tall and vigorous, reaching a height of 80-85 cm, with densely covered large fruits positioned along the perimeter of the bush in a drooping position. The ripening period is approximately 100-110 days from germination, allowing harvest as early as August. Megaton Gold fruits have a cube-shaped form with 3-4 chambers inside, distinguished by large size — weight ranging from 260 to 300 grams. The thickness of the fleshy walls is 8-10 mm, the flesh is juicy, aromatic, and possesses excellent taste. The fruit skin is smooth, glossy, and dense, ensuring high transportability and long-term storage without damage. Due to the dense skin, the fruits are resistant to light frosts, which is especially important for regions with variable climates. The Megaton Gold hybrid exhibits comprehensive resistance to diseases, enhancing the reliability of obtaining a stable yield. This pepper is versatile in use: it can be eaten fresh, added to salads, and used for all types of processing and canning.
