GOROSPEL

The pepper Gorospel is an early-maturing hybrid that reaches technical maturity within 95-110 days after germination. The plants are tall with a spreading canopy, formed by 2-3 stems, requiring mandatory training and support for proper growth. Seeds are recommended to be sown only after germination; at a temperature of 25-28°C, they germinate within 10-15 days. The planting scheme provides a row spacing of 60-70 cm and 30-35 cm within rows, ensuring a planting density of 3.5-5.5 plants per square meter.

The fruits of the Gorospel pepper have a rich yellow color at biological maturity and dark green at technical maturity. They are distinguished by their attractive shape and proportions: fruit length reaches 155 mm, average diameter about 90 mm, and weight varies from 250 to 300 grams. Wall thickness is 8-10 mm, which gives the fruits juiciness and tender consistency. The skin is of medium thickness and strong, ensuring good transportability and excellent storability of the product.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield — about 12 kg per square meter — as well as resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and tolerance to spotted wilt virus. Gorospel pepper is suitable for cultivation in open ground and features excellent taste, juiciness, and tenderness of flesh. For maintaining plant health during traditional soil fertilization, 1-2 feedings may be required during the season.
