The 'Kaban' pepper variety is a high-yielding, mid-season variety with large, cube-shaped fruits weighing from 170 to 230 grams, and under good care, individual fruits may weigh up to 350-400 grams. The fruits have dense, juicy, and sweet walls 6-10 mm thick, colored dark green in technical ripeness, and bright red in biological ripeness. The pepper plants are bushy, compact, reaching 70-80 cm in height, though under certain conditions they may reach up to 150 cm. The plant forms a strong crown and stably bears fruit both in greenhouses and in open beds. The 'Kaban' variety is distinguished by high resistance to major pepper diseases, ensuring prolonged and even fruiting even under challenging growing conditions. The fruits have excellent taste qualities with a classic fresh and aromatic flavor, making them versatile in cooking. They are suitable for fresh consumption, stuffing, stewing, freezing, canning, and salad preparation. Thanks to good storability and transportability, the product retains its quality during storage and transport. The 'Kaban' variety is recommended to be grown from seedlings with transplanting at the stage of 1-2 true leaves. After transplanting into the greenhouse, it is necessary to remove lateral shoots and lower leaves until the first fork, and also to tie the plants to supports to form a strong bush. The ripening period ranges from 95 to 107 days from germination, allowing for an early and stable harvest.
