Red Star

Red Star pepper is an early-maturing variety with high yield and large, juicy fruits of deep red color. The plant forms compact, medium-height bushes with cube-cylindrical fruits 10-12 cm long and weighing 180-250 g. Fruit walls are 6-8 mm thick, ensuring fleshiness and a pleasant sweet taste without bitterness. At technical maturity, fruits are green, and at biological maturity — deep red, making them attractive for fresh consumption and various culinary uses.

The variety features uniform ripening, with a vegetation period of 90-105 days, allowing for a quick harvest. Red Star is resistant to major pepper diseases and tolerates adverse growing conditions. It is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, baking, stuffing, and preservation. The variety's high yield reaches 70+ tons per hectare, making it one of the most productive among similar varieties.

Growing Red Star pepper is possible in greenhouses, polytunnels, and open ground. Seedlings should be sown in February-March, and transplanted into the soil in May-June when soil temperature is not below 15°C. Seeds undergo pre-sowing treatment and germination testing to ensure reliable and uniform sprouting. Seed production is carried out by the company «Flora Market» in Ukraine, guaranteeing quality and compliance with standards.
