Zidan

Zidan pepper is an early-maturing variety that reaches technical maturity in 92-97 days after germination. The plant is bush-type, about 60-70 cm tall, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Fruits are positioned vertically on the plant, facilitating harvest and promoting even ripening.

The fruits of Zidan pepper have a conical shape, smooth and glossy surface, weighing 85-90 grams. In technical maturity, they are green, and upon biological maturity, they turn into a vibrant orange hue. The fruit walls are 4-5 mm thick, ensuring juicy and dense flesh. The flavor is intense and spicy, while the flesh is sweet and succulent, making this variety versatile for use.

Zidan pepper is characterized by good storability and high transportability, allowing it to retain quality during transport and storage. Additionally, the variety exhibits disease resistance, reducing the need for frequent use of protective agents. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for preservation, including pickling, stuffing, and making relish, expanding their culinary applications.
