Kadril

Cadril is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid characterized by rapid fruiting, beginning around day 38-40 after mass seedlings. The plant features long, moderately branched vines with a female flowering type, where three or more female flowers form in each node. Leaves are medium-sized and deep green, while fruits are short-cylindrical with a bumpy surface and dense white pubescence. Green fruit weight is approximately 90-100 grams, with excellent flavor qualities. The hybrid yields 10-11 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation.

The Cadril hybrid is resistant to several common diseases, including cladosporiosis and powdery mildew, and also exhibits tolerance to downy mildew (peronosporosis). This ensures stable fruiting and reduces the need for frequent protective treatments. Green fruits are suitable for various uses: they can be eaten fresh, pickled, or preserved, expanding the application possibilities of the harvest.

The plant exhibits prolonged fruiting and can withstand high fruit load, which is especially important for intensive cultivation. Cadril is suitable for cultivation in open ground, plastic greenhouses, and even on windowsills in home conditions. Due to its combination of early maturity, high yield, and disease resistance, this hybrid is an excellent choice for both professional farmers and home gardeners.
