FLIGHT

Sweet pepper Flight — a medium-early variety of Moldovan breeding, suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground. The plant is compact, up to 50 cm tall, with moderate leafiness and a strong root system, which ensures resistance to stress and adverse conditions, as well as promotes active growth and fruit setting under sufficient warmth, light, and regular watering with fertilizers. The vegetation period ranges from 110 to 140 days depending on the fruit maturity stage.

Fruits of the Flight variety have a regular conical shape with a wide base, up to 15 cm long and 5 to 9 mm thick walls. In technical maturity, they are light green, and upon full ripening, they turn bright red with a shiny and smooth skin. Fruit weight varies from 160 to 300 grams depending on cultivation conditions. The flesh is juicy, crisp, with a pleasant taste and mild sweetness, containing significant amounts of vitamin C and B-complex vitamins, as well as nutrients.

The Flight variety is valued for its attractive market appearance, distinct pepper aroma that lasts for a long time, as well as good storability and high transportability. Fruits maintain freshness and appeal for two to three weeks after harvest. They are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, salad and hot dish preparation, as well as freezing and canning. Additionally, the variety is resistant to verticillium wilt, enhancing its reliability in cultivation.
