Diego pepper is a sweet and aromatic variety with a unique cube-shaped fruit, resembling a square with four corners. The fruits are large, about 8x10 cm, with thin skin and thick walls of 4-5 mm. They have a crisp flesh and a rich sweet flavor with a fruity aroma, enhanced by strong skin aromas. The fruit color varies from bright yellow to dark glossy red, giving them an attractive and unusual appearance. Fruit weight ranges from 110 to 250 grams, making this pepper suitable for various culinary purposes.

Diego is a medium-maturing and high-yielding variety, with a period from germination to technical maturity of about 105-110 days, and from transplanting approximately 70 days. Plants are compact, up to 70-100 cm tall, well-branched, and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers or in pots. Fruits initially ripen in light green color, considered optimal for fresh consumption, then turn bright red and become even sweeter.
