Red Jet

Sweet pepper Red Jet F1 is a medium-early hybrid developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The plant is indeterminate, strong, with a well-developed root system and dense foliage, ensuring abundant fruit set and fruit retention even under stressful conditions. This hybrid exhibits high resistance to bacterial spot and major viral diseases, and can steadily produce yields under various climatic conditions.

Red Jet pepper fruits have a cube-shaped form with four chambers, measuring approximately 8-9 cm in length and 7 cm in diameter, with a wall thickness of 8-9 mm. The weight of one fruit ranges from 200 to 250 grams. In the technical ripening stage, the fruits are a deep green color, which turns into a vibrant red upon biological ripening. The flesh is juicy, moderately dense, and uniform, with excellent flavor qualities. Due to its high marketability and nutritional value, the pepper retains its properties during long-term storage and transportation over long distances.

Red Jet F1 is characterized by high yield: in open ground, one square meter can yield up to 7 kg of fruit, while under cover, the yield reaches 10.5 kg. The planting density is approximately 30-40 thousand plants per hectare. This pepper is versatile in application — it is excellent for fresh salads, home cooking, processing, and freezing, making it in demand for both personal and commercial cultivation.
