Caper — an early-maturing, high-yielding variety: flowering occurs on day 62-65, fruiting on day 105-123, and biological ripening on day 137-152 after germination. The plant is semi-determinate, medium-height, semi-spreading, reaching 50-80 cm. Fruits are conical, pointed at the tip, pointing downward, weighing 100-140 g, measuring 8-10×5-7 cm; pericarp thickness 8-10 mm. Fruits are light green in technical maturity and yellow in biological maturity. Plants are very decorative, have good remontancy and consistent fruiting. They bear a high fruit load (20-60 fruits per plant), adapt well to various growing conditions. Twin fruits may occur at nodes. The variety yields a stable harvest of high-quality fruits. Resistant to tobacco mosaic virus. Suitable for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, indoors, on balconies, and in offices. Planting density 5-8 plants/m2. Plants require staking.
