Capricious — a determinate variety. The plant is low-growing, dense, semi-erect, reaching 40-50 cm in height. Leaves are acuminate-lanceolate. Fruits are small, round, green in technical maturity, turning red upon ripening, measuring 1.5-2×1.5-2 cm and weighing 1.5-2.5 g. Leaf and fruit arrangement is whorled, though solitary arrangements also occur. Early maturing, it begins fruiting on day 105-110 after emergence and ripens on day 120-125. Highly decorative. Moderately resistant to adverse growing conditions. Intended for indoor and garden cultivation, requires support. Used as spices in preservation and as seasoning.
