Zolotinka pepper is a high-yielding medium-early variety with a maturation period ranging from 95 to 130 days depending on growing conditions. The plant has a straight and sturdy bush reaching 45 to 60 cm in height, facilitating ease of care and harvest. Fruits are large, weighing 200 to 450 grams, with walls up to 1 cm thick, making them juicy and succulent. Fruit shapes vary from trapezoidal to cuboid, and color changes from dark green at technical maturity to bright yellow or golden-yellow at full ripeness. Zolotinka exhibits high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and is adapted to adverse weather conditions, including low temperatures and insufficient light. Due to their dense walls, the fruits withstand transportation well without losing their market qualities. Flavor characteristics stand out with a delicate, pleasant aroma with mild spicy notes and a sweet-spicy taste, making it versatile for various culinary applications. This variety is ideal for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground under film coverings.
