Description Yanika
Yanika F1 is an early, high-yielding hybrid of sweet pepper of the Hungarian type, developed by Kitano Seeds. This hybrid is characterized by stable and uniform fruiting, allowing for consistent fruiting almost simultaneously, ensuring an early market entry with quality produce. The plant is compact yet robust, with dense foliage that effectively protects fruits from sunburn and excessive ultraviolet radiation. Yanika exhibits high stress resistance, particularly to temperature fluctuations, as well as strong immunity to diseases of solanaceous crops, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and protected environments. Yanika pepper fruits have a conical shape with 3–4 chambers, measuring 11–12 cm in length and weighing 150–180 grams. Their wall thickness is 6–8 mm, ensuring dense, crisp flesh with adequate juice content. In technical ripeness, fruits have a light yellow or beige-yellow hue, while in biological ripeness, they turn into a rich red color with a waxy sheen. The flesh has a pleasant sweet flavor with moderate aroma. Thanks to its dense structure and quality skin, the fruits withstand long-distance transportation and prolonged storage without losing their market appearance or flavor. The Yanika hybrid is intended for fresh consumption and processing. It demonstrates high yields and high commercial output throughout the entire growing season. The plant possesses a strong root system, which ensures efficient nutrient uptake and enrichment with beneficial substances from the soil. Due to its versatility and resistance to stressful conditions, Yanika is an excellent choice for farmers seeking an early, high-quality harvest of sweet pepper with good transportability and market appearance.
