Originator — "Selgen, a.s.", Czech Republic. This is a yellow-seeded pea variety, classified as semi-early in maturity. The plant has few leaves. Suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine; well-adapted to areas with insufficient moisture. High-yielding, early-maturing variety with potential yield of 60 centners per hectare. The seeds are characterized by high water content and large size, with an average 1000-seed weight of 270–280 grams. The variety is vigorous and erect, resistant to lodging, despite being tall, suitable for direct combine harvesting. It belongs to the most resistant varieties against complex root and stem diseases. Resistance to powdery mildew is very high. Drought-tolerant, moderately resistant to shattering. Herbicide and insecticide protection is standard for peas. Not demanding of preceding crops (can be sown after cereals or corn). Early sowing is recommended, and agronomic practices are optimal for each cultivation zone. Seeding rate — 1.2–1.5 million viable seeds per hectare, planting depth 5–7 cm with row spacing of 12.5 cm. Harvesting is recommended when seed moisture content is 17–18% (to minimize seed damage). Intended for both food and feed purposes.
