Originator — Institute of Plant Growing named after V. Ya. Yuryev, NAAN.
Variety distinguishing features. Variety type — contecstum (linked), pod-branch type — ecaducum (non-shattering yellow-seeded).
The variety is semi-dwarf, leafless type. Stem is usually straight, internodes up to the first inflorescence — 14-16. Plant height 60 — 80 cm. Flowers are white, two flowers per pedicel. Pods are shatter-resistant type, medium-large, with blunt apex, well-formed pods, seed number per pod 5-6, maximum — 7. Seeds are pink, round, smooth surface, with shatter resistance trait.
Agronomic characteristics. The variety is for grain use, medium-maturing. Vegetative period duration 77-80 days. 1000-seed mass 230-250 g. Protein content in seeds 20 — 22%. Resistant to lodging and shattering, suitable for direct combine harvesting.
In the variety trial conducted by the V.Ya. Yuryev Institute, the highest yield of the variety was recorded in 2008 and amounted to 4.61 t / ha. According to field qualification testing in the Polissia region during 2009-2010, the average yield of the variety was 2.72 t / ha, with the maximum yield in 2009 — 3.79 t / ha at the Horodenkovskaya DSS in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. In the forest-steppe region, the average yield was 2.62 t / ha, with the maximum yield in 2009 — 4.02 t / ha, obtained at the Belaye Kerkovskaya DSS of Kyiv DCESR. In the steppe region, during 2009-2010, the average yield was 2.42 t / ha, with the maximum yield in 2009 at the Perevolskaya DSS — 3.08 t / ha.
In 2012, at the TPF "Intercenter Lux" (Slobodskoy District, Transnistrian Moldavian Republic), the yield of the variety was 4.48 t / ha.
