Pea Equinox

Stable yields without unnecessary trouble: Eквинокс peas

In unpredictable weather conditions and under high disease pressure, farmers increasingly rely on varieties with high natural immunity. The French breeding program by Lemaire Deffontaines, represented by Soytek S.R.L, offers a solution to the primary challenges of legume production: lodging and root system diseases.

"Equinox" is a semi-leafless (tendril-type) pea variety designed to deliver results from the very first days of vegetation. Its standout feature is a robust, well-developed root system. This trait sets it apart from competitors by providing high resistance to root rot, which is a critical factor for intensive farming and tight crop rotations.

Why choose Equinox?

• Harvesting Efficiency: The semi-leafless type forms a strong, interlocking structure. This ensures excellent suitability for direct combining without yield losses from lodging, saving resources on drying and reducing harvesting waste.
• Disease Protection: The variety possesses genetically inherent resistance to anthracnose and various rots, allowing for a reduction in fungicide applications without compromising the crop.
• Specialization: This is a classic grain pea, developed for those seeking maximum return per hectare in commercial production.

If your goal is to have an even, uniform crop that won't lodge after the first rain and won't succumb to root diseases mid-season, the choice is clear. Equinox is synonymous with reliability. For agricultural enterprises and farms focused on mechanized harvesting with minimal time and fuel costs, this variety from Soytek S.R.L is a strategic asset for any crop rotation.
