RUSSKOYE ZASTOLYE

The Batun onion variety "Russkoye Zastolye" is an early-maturing, productive, and undemanding variety that quickly forms a thickened, long, cylindrical red bulb. The plant produces a powerful rosette of juicy semi-sharp greens, making it versatile for various culinary purposes. The bulb's taste is tender and pleasant, allowing it to be used for cutting into small, neat rings, while the greens are excellent for fresh consumption in salads, soups, garnishing appetizers, and freezing.

Sowing seeds is recommended directly into open ground at the end of April - beginning of May to a depth of 1.0-1.5 cm with row spacing of 10-15 cm and distance between plants of 4-5 cm. Harvest begins at the end of June - beginning of July, when leaves reach a height of 20-30 cm. This cultivation regime ensures rapid growth and high plant productivity.
